Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Media & Communications Officer to manage internal and external communications, increase brand visibility, and support the organization’s media presence. This role involves content creation, media relations, social media management, and strategic communications planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization’s objectives
- Write, edit, and distribute content including press releases, website content, speeches, newsletters, and social media posts
- Act as the primary contact for media inquiries and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
- Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- Support marketing campaigns with clear and compelling messaging
- Manage the company’s presence across all social media platforms
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, conferences, or public appearances
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications
- Collaborate with internal teams to align communications with business goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a communications, PR, or media-related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and media relations experience
- Proficient in social media platforms and content management systems
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights)
