Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic Education Consultant / Counselor to guide students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. The role involves assessing students’ interests, skills, and goals, and providing tailored advice on course selection, study options, and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on academic programs, career options, and education pathways.
• Assist students with applications, admissions processes, and documentation.
• Provide information about universities, colleges, vocational programs, and training institutes.
• Guide students in choosing suitable courses based on their interests and strengths.
• Stay updated on education systems, curriculum changes, and career trends.
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions for students and parents.
• Build relationships with schools, colleges, and training providers.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow-up on progress.
• Support students with scholarships, visa guidance (if abroad studies), and financial planning advice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an academic counselor, education consultant, or student advisor.
• Strong knowledge of education systems (local and international).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to empathize with students and provide personalized support.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with international education (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.).
• Certifications in career counseling or student advising.
• Experience with student visa processes and admissions to reputed institutions.
